Beijing (romantized as Peking), is the capital of the People's Republic of China and has a seriously long history.

Forbidden City

The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty and is located in the center of Beijing, China. While I was there a large restoration project was underway to restore the full spelendor and beauty of the city.

Great Wall

The Great Wall of China is a marvel, but sadly many locations the Wall are in disrepair or heavy damaged. Areas around Beijing and near tourist centers have been preserved and even extensively renovated and lucky for use a new section had just opened just a taxi ride away. And popular to what you hear the Wall is not visible by the naked eye!!
